Yorktown Chapter Supports Avalon during Queens Lake 5K

On 11 April 2009 Yorktown Chapter members ran in the 16^th Annual Queens Lake 5K in support of Avalon. Avalon in Williamsburg, VA is committed to intervening in and reducing the incidence of domestic violence and sexual assault. In order to achieve this mission, Avalon offers shelter, advocacy, education and support to survivors and fosters awareness and prevention by educating the community.
