Congratulations Yorktown, we did it again!!!

For the second year in a row the Yorktown Chapter of the CPOA received the prestigious President’s Outstanding Chapter Award. Three Chapters (Las Vegas, Washington D.C., and Yorktown) were selected for final consideration, and the Chapter Presidents who attended this year’s annual convention in Las Vegas each got a vote. Pictured below is CPOA National President, YNC Jon Shipp, presenting our President, BMCS Randy Krahn, with the 2007 trophy. This win is special because it establishes Yorktown’s tradition of excellence. Thanks to our Chapter of the Year Committee, ISCM Pearson, FCS Limneos, and EMC Madison for all their hard work on our package. Overall the Chapter has been selected the Outstanding Chapter three times (1978, 2006, & 2007).
